By downloading, accessing, or using the DCARS mobile application, website, or services (collectively, the “Platform”), you (“User,” “Customer,” “Client,” or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Services Provided

DCARS offers the following services:

Car Rentals – Short-term and long-term rentals.
Lease-to-Own – Vehicle lease agreements with the option to purchase.
Car Sales & Purchases – Marketplace for buying and selling vehicles (both DCARS-verified and user-listed).
Additional Services – Insurance assistance, registration support, and other automotive-related services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
You must hold a valid driving license (for rental/lease services).
Companies using DCARS must be legally registered businesses.

3. User Accounts

Users must register and provide accurate details.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
DCARS reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for suspicious, fraudulent, or unlawful activities.

4. Bookings & Payments

All bookings are subject to availability.
Payments must be made through approved payment methods on the Platform.
Prices are displayed inclusive/exclusive of VAT (as applicable).
Non-refundable deposits may apply depending on the service selected.

5. Rentals & Lease-to-Own Terms

Vehicles must be used in accordance with UAE traffic rules and regulations.
Customers are liable for traffic fines, Salik (toll) charges, parking charges, and fuel costs during the rental/lease period.
Any damage, theft, or accident caused during the rental/lease period is the responsibility of the customer unless covered under insurance.
Lease-to-own contracts are legally binding; early termination may result in penalties.

6. Car Listings & Sales

Users listing vehicles for sale must provide accurate ownership documents.
DCARS reserves the right to verify or reject any listing.
DCARS is not responsible for disputes between buyers and sellers for user-listed vehicles.
DCARS-verified vehicles will be subject to inspection and company terms.

7. Insurance & Liability

All rental and lease vehicles must be covered by insurance.
The customer is liable for insurance excess charges in case of an accident.
DCARS shall not be held liable for:
Loss or damage to personal belongings left in vehicles.
Delays due to traffic, breakdowns, or third-party actions.

8. Prohibited Use

Users may not:

Use vehicles for illegal activities.
Sublet or allow unauthorized drivers.
Tamper with or modify any rented/leased vehicle.
Use the Platform for fraudulent transactions.

9. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation policies differ for rentals, leases, and sales.
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed as per company policy.
Refunds for user error (wrong booking, incorrect details) are not guaranteed.

10. Intellectual Property

All logos, designs, software, and content on DCARS are the property of DCARS or its licensors.
Users may not copy, modify, or distribute Platform content without permission.

11. Privacy Policy

DCARS collects and processes personal data as described in its Privacy Policy.
By using the Platform, you consent to our collection and use of your data.

12. Limitation of Liability

DCARS provides the Platform “as is” and makes no guarantees of uninterrupted availability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DCARS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

13. Termination

DCARS reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at any time for violations of these Terms.
Users may terminate their account by contacting DCARS support, provided no active bookings/contracts are pending.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dubai Courts.
